€50k Competitive Start Fund, Two Calls Now Open

Enterprise Ireland has announced details of two Competitive Start Fund worth €50k

  1. International Entrepreneurship - www.enterprise-ireland.com/csfinternational
    • This fund is open to entrepreneurs, located inside and outside of the European Union, focusing on manufacturing & internationally traded services, including the following subsectors: Internet, Games, Apps, Mobile, SaaS, Cloud Computing, Enterprise Software, Lifesciences, Fintech, Food, Cleantech and Industrial Products.
  2. Graduate Entrepreneurship-   www.enterprise-ireland.com/graduatecsf
    • This fund is open to applications from recent graduates and final year students active in the Manufacturing & Internationally Traded Services sectors including the following subsectors: Internet, Games, Apps, Mobile, SaaS, Cloud Computing, Enterprise Software, Lifesciences, Food, Cleantech and Industrial Products


Both calls opened today Wednesday 8th March 2017 and will close on Wednesday 22nd March 2017 at 3pm.  Applicants are restricted to apply to one call only.

What is the maximum funding available?

The selected companies will receive a maximum investment of €50,000 for a 10% ordinary equity stake in the start-up company. The investment shall be released in two equal tranches. The Company will be required to secure additional equity investment of €5,000, from promoters or external investees, prior to the release of EI’s first tranche.

What is the call close date?

This call for applications will close on Wednesday 22nd March 2017 at 3pm.

Applications must be made through the Enterprise Ireland online application system.
